Terms of Service

To use Sugaryy, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age. Sugaryy is strictly an adults-only (18+) platform.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the laws that apply to you.
• Not be barred from using the Service under any applicable law, and not be a convicted sex offender.
• Maintain only one account, registered in your own real identity.

You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@sugaryy.co if you suspect any unauthorized access. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account within the app.

Sugaryy exists to help people make genuine travel connections, friendships, and relationships. To keep the community safe, you agree that you will not:

• Solicit or offer money or anything of value in exchange for companionship, dates, or relationships, and not use the Service for escort services, sex work, prostitution, or any commercial solicitation or advertising. Sugaryy is not a venue for transactional or paid arrangements of any kind.
• Harass, abuse, threaten, stalk, defame, or harm any other person.
• Post or share content that is unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, violent, or that infringes the rights of others.
• Impersonate any person, or misrepresent your age, identity, or affiliation.
• Engage in spam, fraud, phishing, scams, or attempts to obtain others' money or personal data.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Service, or attempt to disrupt or compromise its security.
• Use the Service if you are under 18, or facilitate access by anyone under 18.

You retain ownership of the photos, text, and other content you submit ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant Sugaryy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute it solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and confirm that you have the rights to share it. We may remove any content that violates these Terms or that we reasonably consider objectionable.

We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Every member can block and report any other user directly from a profile, chat, or trip.

• Reports are reviewed by our Trust & Safety team, typically within 24 hours.
• We may remove content, issue warnings, or suspend or permanently remove accounts that violate these Terms.
• Blocking a user immediately prevents further contact between you and that person.

Sugaryy offers optional premium subscriptions and in-app items. When you purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the purchase is processed by, and billing is governed by, that store's terms — not by Sugaryy directly.

• Subscriptions are auto-renewing. They renew for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time from your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Payment is charged to your store account on confirmation of purchase.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their policies. Consumable in-app items are non-refundable once used, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
• Where mandatory statutory cancellation or cooling-off rights apply to you, those rights are honoured.

Sugaryy does not conduct criminal background checks or verify the identity of every member. You are responsible for your own interactions and safety. Always meet in public places, tell a friend your plans, never send money to people you meet, and keep conversations on the platform. If you ever feel unsafe, contact your local authorities first.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or other users, or engage in prohibited conduct. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including content licences, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and dispute resolution) will survive.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, a travel companion, or any particular outcome, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sugaryy and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your interactions with other users, your use of (or inability to use) the Service, or any content posted by users.

You agree to indemnify and hold Sugaryy harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your breach of these Terms or of any applicable law or the rights of a third party.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to the arbitration provision below, the courts of competent jurisdiction in India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.

We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally may be referred to arbitration conducted by a sole arbitrator in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat and venue of arbitration in India and proceedings conducted in English.

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder, and applicable consumer-protection and data-protection laws of India, complaints about content or your use of the Service may be sent to our Grievance Officer at support@sugaryy.co. We will acknowledge complaints and aim to resolve them within the timelines required by applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
